Nassarius Snails are fantastic clean up crew additions to tanks with substrate. Also known as Zombie snails, Nassarius spend the greater part of their day under the substrate, emerging proboscis first, as lights are low heading into the evening. Hungry Nassarius will consume detritus and organic matter, and are beneficial for keeping the substrate turned over.
